Mexican Living - Myth Busting

Filed Under (Articles) by admin on 07-01-2009

Myth One: Mexicans are lazy, good-for-nothings.

I mention this one first because it is one of the vilest myths and an excellent example of Americans’ xenophobic stereotyping. The idea that Mexicans spend their lives under a big tree trying to sleep off a 10-day drunk is a massively common, American-perpetuated misconception. Modern Mexico is a wonderful mix of professionals and agrarian people who are some of the most industrious people I have ever seen. Where America, and especially Hollywood, gets off portraying hardworking Mexicans as lazy bums is beyond me.

Myth Two: Authorities look the other way regarding drugs.

Ha! Ha! Ha! Watch me roll on the floor laughing! Just try bringing your party-hardy illicit-drug-taking-butt down here and test that theory. Ha! Ha! Ha!

Myth Three: Try bribing a policeman.

This won’t work anymore. If you get yourself into trouble, do not think money is going to get you out of it. Times have changeddrastically! The new generation police officers do not accept bribes. There are, of course, exceptions, just as in the United States. Graft is everywhere and not just in Mexico. Nowadays Mexican police are tested for their honesty and, if caught accepting bribes, suffer severe consequences. There are also severe penalties for the one doing the bribing!

Myth Four: Mexican food is a belly burner.

There certain dishes which are traditionally prepared with hot, spicy ingredients. Some are not. In a family meal, the wife cooks the meal according to the tastes of her family members, which may or may not be spicy. In

MLM Network Marketing Training - Are You Fooling Yourself Out of MLM and Network Marketing

Filed Under (Articles) by admin on 07-01-2009

Are you fooling yourself into believing that you actually are working this business?

Many distributors practice what I call “Pretend Power”. That is where you are actually “empowered” by pretending you are doing this business.

You pretend you are working.

You pretend you are making phone calls.

You pretend you are going to appointments.

You pretend you are doing presentations.

You pretend you are recruiting.

You pretend… pretend… and then pretend some more…

HEY! Been there and done that! I nearly pretended myself right out of MLM! I know what that is like and the frustration that comes with it!

You believe you are working it. You believe you are going to be successful.

You believe also in fairy tales…

It’s called MLM delusion.

WAKE UP!!!!!!!

You cannot pretend your way into success in MLM.

You MUST make the phone calls.

You MUST talk to people.

You MUST do the presentations.

You MUST engage the basics of this business to have any type of basic Success in MLM.

If you are not talking to at least 2 new people daily, following up on at least 2 people daily, and not collecting at least 2 new leads a day and making 2 sales a week….

You are pretending to be in this network marketing business.

And I will even go as far as to say that if you are not recruiting at least one person every other month, you are pretending to work your Network Marketing business.

And then, all that will produce is a “Pretend Paycheck”.

You can pretend it’s there, and pretend to spend it, and pretend to pay your bills

Employee Motivation - Make Everyone A Cheerleader For Your Company

Filed Under (Articles) by admin on 07-01-2009

Do you manage by walking around? What do you see? People excited about their job or people just going through the motions? Here are seven ways, that do not cost much if anything, to turn the “it’s just a job” employee into one that is powered up and willing to give their best every day.

Spend time out in the field. Ask your employees how you can help make their jobs easier. Work alongside them and even let them teach you what they do. Southwest Airlines has a mandate that every manager must spend 1/3 of his or her time in direct contact with employees and customers to create a stronger feeling of teamwork.

Hold a voluntary good news hour. Set aside time once a week so that everyone can share good things that have happened in their lives and work during the last week.

Celebrate everything you can. For example, meeting of short term goals, the end of the budget process, winning grants or new customers, extraordinary work, safety successes.

Surprise with spontaneous treats. Rent an ice cream cart or a popcorn machine. Take coffee and donuts to each person’s work station. How about a package of Lifesavers
