Lucky Charms and Talismans

Filed Under (Articles) by admin on 11-10-2006

Many of you already own several lucky charms or talismans. You just may not be aware of the object’s symbolism or meaning. Below I have compiled a list of some of the more popular and common good luck symbols that can be purchased in the form of jewellery, paintings or statues.

The Ring: A ring made of gold represents eternity and the circle of life. A diamond on a gold ring symbolizes fidelity. The tradition of the wedding ring goes back to the ancient Romans. Puzzle rings that interlink symbolize the integration of the spirit with the mind. When you give a puzzle ring to a friend, it means that you never want the two of you to part ways.

The Clover: The three-leafed clover is a symbol of health and vitality and for the Celts, symbolized The Holy Trinity. A four-leafed clover symbolizes sudden good fortune. A five-leafed clover symbolizes a happy marriage.

The Heart: A heart is the classic symbol of love. A picture or lock of hair carried inside a locket is thought to be the ultimate way to symbolize the carrying of another’s spirit in your heart. As an amulet the symbol of the heart protects against heart disorders, anxiety and the tendency to blame others.

The Pentagram: This five-sided star is also known as the Druid’s foot. It helps as a talisman to fulfill wishes, invoke spiritual powers and activate inner powers. It also serves as a protective amulet against the “evil eye” and casts evil back to where

Hold On!

Job was a spiritual man who loved and obeyed God at all times. Yet, God allowed some really terrible things to happen in Jobs life.

Imagine, for a second, if someone came up to you and said, all of your children, and their spouses and children were visiting each other, all in the same house, and the house collapsed and they are all dead. Immediately after this person gives you this horrifying information, another person appears and tells you that all of the money you’ve invested in the stock market was bad investments and now you are penniless. At the same time, you receive a cell phone call from your boss who tells you that your service is no longer required. As soon as you hang the phone up, you look out the window and see a huge truck backing into your brand new Mercedes and totally destroying it. Before you can turn around, the phone rings again. This time, it’s your spouse calling to say that s/he is in love with someone else and will be leaving you, effective immediately.

Can you even imagine that?

I can’t even fathom that all happening in one day. If it did, I will have to be honest with youit would be REAL hard for me to be positive after having a day like that one.

But even though all of these things happened to Job, he still didn’t speak badly of God and God ends up blessing Job with three times more than what he had

Bring Your Visitors Back Clamoring for More! Maintain and Improve Your Web Site Weekly - Part 2

Filed Under (Articles) by admin on 11-10-2006

80% of your Web site is Maintenance!

Once your Web site is up, you must maintain it. That means changes, and each time you make a change, you may make a mistake. I’m really grateful when people point out my
Web glitches. You too can be more proactive by checking your Web site each week.

If your visitors get a link that doesn’t work, see incomplete instructions, or read your dull instead of passionate copy, they will leave your site immediately, and not bookmark it.

Before you invite potential buyers to see your masterpiece you need to check and correct all parts of your site, and especially the home page. Use the last four of the seven tests below to guarantee you loyal customers and clients. The others from 1-3 are in part one of this piece.

4. TEST YOUR PRICE. A price that is too low is as bad as a price too high. Too low a price devalues your product or service.

Potential clients or buyers may think, “If it’s that cheap, it must not be good.” One myth is that eBooks have less value than print books. If your book has information your preferred audience wants, you must price it accordingly. If your service is invaluable, be sure to charge what you’re worth. You can find a free article on how to price your eBooks on the site www.bookcoaching.com.

Send an email survey to your friends and associates. Ask them to think like your potential buyers. List the benefits for each product or service.
